Writing

Overview

I mostly write science fiction, but have published some nonfiction essays as well. Many of my fiction short stories can be found in the "Physics and the Human Heart" short story collection. 

Science Fiction

I like to write stories that explore the metaphor made real (eg, what if you could actually give your heart to someone?) or that explore the effect of technology on people's behaviors (eg, what if you could change your XX chromosome to an XY?) Most are available in the Physics & the human heart collection.

Nonfiction

My nonfiction publications are based on some of my personal experiences as a scientist.
